A Hosta Farewell to Autumn in Litchfield

Well, that was a learning curve. Never made a slideshow.  I collected some of my favorite Autumn hosta leaves just before composting them and made one for you- threw in a little music too.  Click on the center of the graphic and the video will start.  Fun? Right. I plan to do more another time.

Love the light play on the earthtones. PS. The headline photo is of course, a dahlia!

I’m spending a lot of time on computer prepping and uploading my pillow images to Etsy.  Geesh! OK, they look great. You can see the covers here. Yes! You can buy covers separately! (Down inserts to follow once I get the shipping details nailed).

The news of Canadian singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen’s passing today was not a shocker. Even though I wasn’t a HUGE fan, his longevity and musical staying power right up through the age of 92 was impressive.

I thought this song especially fun as a way of capturing his passion for life. Something for us all to look forward to Dance Me to the End of Love.

AND, subscribe to this blog if you haven’t, because when the inserts are online, you’ll  be the first to know. Got questions? Message me on Facebook or reach out to me here. Holidays are coming in!
