“Happy Thanksgiving” is over. Onto the holidays. Makes me tired even thinking about it. It was good while Thanksgiving lasted. I always love the preparation for kids coming home. And, hosting them at our local White Memorial gangplank…
Aside from cooking for family and eating steadily, it’s been a big week for Paola Prints. We just went live on HOUZZ- still working out some bugs. I’ll have a HOUZZ link for you next post. If you’re looking for festive pillows to warm you in the winter season…we have ten designs in stock-check them out here. We’re selling wholesale and direct. Paola Prints now takes credit cards- email me here and order some pillows in time to deck out your living space- but don’t wait too long and incur rush shipping charges!
Although I love having family in for the holidays…I’m also happy to be left behind when they go..is that odd? We’re off to visit and eat again tonight with friends in Kent CT. But will I be hungry by then? I promised myself I would exercise today in preparation but never made it down to the elliptical. (arghh) New Year resolutions aren’t in season yet.
And, what would Thanksgiving be without dreams of holiday shopping? I found a few ideas at the The New York Times 2015 Holiday Gift Guide:
Some examples:
Marble plates– Photos as fun-ctional art
Soft sacks– Sparkling soft multi-purpose sacks- a stylish home for a holiday plant or gift wrapping
Sky Planter– Growing herbs inside doesn’t get easier but you have to hang it!
English toffee..Always delish
Woolen sweater – Can’t get enough cozy in New England winters
My son Sean, is a great music source for me. Thanks Sean…hope you like this too.
Eric Hutchinson is an American singer-songwriter who grew up in Takoma Park,Maryland. He’s traveled a bit- to Boston, LA and now lives in NYC. Played many late night shows and other venues. I like this guy! This song was released in 2006 on the album: Before I Sold Out. All Over Now
