It’s been difficult keeping up with my blog the last few weeks – too much going on here. Summer has been so taken up with planning and getting ready to post my pillows for sale. It’s been hard not to be able to weed or take photos outside.
I was listening to Pandora and got pulled into reading about the life of Chesney Henry “Chet” Baker, Jr. jazz trumpeter, flugelhornist and vocalist. He was incredibly tenacious considering his longstanding addiction to drugs. Very impressive artist. I almost enjoy the visual as much as the music in this 1964 version of “Isn’t it romantic?” The musicians exude that cool so associated with jazz. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLOjhqvvBwk
