At Home in the Garden

This is my Litchfield garden in May. As a child, I spent lots of time outdoors. I tended a garden in spring -a chaotic mix of flowers and vegetables. Today, I grow only flowers… the better to capture their beauty for wearing!

I’ve sewn since childhood. After getting a degree in fine art, I began to work in fabric appliqué on clothing and home decor. Soon, I realized I could utilize my design skills on the computer using my photography. Now I spend almost all my creative time on computer- printing to fabric. Except when I’m in the garden!
