A Splash of Color

As the holidays draw closer, the New England landscape adopts a very subdued color profile- all things tan and brown. The addition of grey skies completes the picture, signaling impending snow events. Related Images:

Holidays Incoming

“Happy Thanksgiving”  is over. Onto the holidays. Makes me tired even thinking about it. It was good while Thanksgiving  lasted. I always love the preparation for kids coming home. And, hosting them at our local White Memorial gangplank… Aside from cooking for family and eating steadily, it’s been a big week for Paola Prints. Fall is coming in and out I go.

It’s after midnight and I’m not quite sure what to share … another late night. Today has been a bit of a roller coaster but what else is new? It’s my life now, and per usual, lots of math factors in. Ugh. In spite of it all, today was another very beautiful early fall day in Litchfield and I had the pleasure of getting outside a couple times. Related Images:

Shady Plans

The locally grown dahlia tubers I planted this year have been thriving. I just don’t know how Amanda manages to deliver such huge flowers- they’re awesome. The sunflowers are on their way to flowering- just behind the dahlias and even taller than the five and a half foot dahlias. Related Images:
