Woodland- A New Paola Pillow

Meet the new Paola Pillow – Woodland. I thought the Chesterfield leather couch a worthy backdrop to a pillow with lots of personality. Recently, someone told me he thought my pillow designs were too “girly” and would I consider a hunting motif? The short answer was “no”. Related Images:

Birthday Girl

It’s my birthday today! I had to explain to someone today how Paola Pillows have their origins in fine art. My dilemma was how to infuse fine art training into home décor products. An Indonesian Door in Litchfield

Our Indonesian door was not intended for wintering over in New England. So, each fall we unlock it and haul it into the barn. Today, we had a good friend over for dinner who helped us install it for Summer 2015. I just love it. I can see it out the kitchen window and it makes me feel good –like an old friend. Heavenly Hostas

In the world of flowers and colors hostas do well as a faithful border plant, returning each spring and spreading as required, blooming innocuously in the shade. Nothing much to write home about. Then I discovered the hosta plant that I feature on several Paola Pillows and Related Images:
